Melissa is a 2006 Ball State University graduate, with a degree in public relations and more than 10 years of marketing and communications experience.
Prior to joining CorComm Creative, Melissa worked for more than 4 years at IU Health North Hospital in Carmel, Ind., as a regional Marketing/PR Specialist, focusing on the promotion of various services at its four Indianapolis Suburban Region hospitals.
In addition to her career at IU Health, she worked as a Marketing Communications Specialist at IMMI, a safety restraint manufacturer in Westfield, Ind., as well as a Communications Assistant at Christ Church Cathedral in Indianapolis, Ind., where she originally met Corie Farnsley.
Melissa’s career has exposed her to many different industries and has given her extensive experience in copy writing, social media management, strategic marketing planning, e-communications, website management, event planning and more.
Melissa lives in Indianapolis with her husband, Thomas, and their beautiful baby girl, Millie. Melissa has a soft spot for arts and cultural activities. She is an avid fan of movies and has even been known to do some local community theater in the past.

Melissa is an avid fan of movies and has what some may consider an “unhealthy” devotion to Netflix. (“Do they make Netflix bed sheets, I wonder?”)
She lives in Indianapolis, with her husband, Thomas, and their daughter (age 1).
She named her daughter Millie after “Thoroughly Modern Millie,” the first musical she saw on Broadway on a college trip to New York.
On a trip to London, England, in 2005, she and her sister, Renee, managed to score orchestra seats to “Guys and Dolls,” starring Ewan McGregor and Jane Krakowski, when tickets were completely sold out. Screaming and celebratory jumping were involved.
She loves to read and is a proud Harry Potter fan.
